Deputy Principal Swan Greetings Parent(s) and Student(s), Once again, I am happy to be working with you and your child during the 2016-2017 school year.  I believe that it is our job as educators and parents to look into our children’s eyes and assist them to realise that they are capable of achieving anything they set their sights on.  My personal belief is that we are all capable of growing and improving, with the right inspiration and encouragement.  Our motto this year is, Dream Big, which we will use to encourage our students to value excellence as we cultivate Bermuda’s achievers. Strong partnerships ensure our children achieve high levels of success.  Our children need support from both home and school, in order to be successful in school; therefore, strong partnerships with parents make a great difference in our children’s education. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and I will continue to do my very best to ensure that we carry out our responsibilities. If, at any time, I can be of help to you, please feel free to contact me at 296-5665 or cbswan@cedarbridge.doe.bm. Thank you in advance for your support and I look forward to working with you and your child.  Let’s make it a great school year. Sincerely, Christopher B. Swan Deputy Principal

Lead teachers are experienced educators who work with other teachers, administrators and parents to help both teachers and students have a positive, productive school experience. They might provide support for new teachers or for those dealing with a challenging population of students. Public school teachers need a bachelor's degree in education or in a subject they teach, along with teacher education training. They also need a teaching license from their state, which requires one or more examinations.
